lana.

Is anyone else as obsessed with Lana del Rey as I am? Lately I’ve been listening to her music on repeat; I just can’t get enough!

She’s also just so glamorous and beautiful, like she is from a different time period. Here are a few of my favorite photos of Lana:

Could she be anymore gorgeous? Seriously, I feel like she can do no wrong! What do you all think of Lana del Rey? Are you as big of fans as I am?

rain, rain.

The past few days it’s been very rainy in Chicago. While some people might not like the rain, I’m actually a huge fan of it! For one thing, rain in Chicago means it’s finally warmed up above freezing (it was 60 on Tuesday!), and that’s always a welcome surprise in January. Rainy days also bring cute rainy day outfits.

In fact, rain is one of my favorite types of weather to dress for. Just behind dressing for sunny days at the beach. I love splashing in puddles in my rain boots, wearing a fabulous trench coat or rain slicker and carrying a cute umbrella.

Here are a few of my favorite rainy day looks:

If anyone needs me, I’ll be outside splashing around in a puddle! Have a wonderful (and dry) day.

Style Inspiration: Duck Boots.

Lately all I can think about is buying a pair of duck boots like these. I think they’re the perfect fall/winter shoe for casual days walking around the city.

I like that they’re outdoorsy shoes and perfect for walking in the wet Chicago slush. My style is little bit tomboyish (I often shop in the men’s department), and these would fit right in with my weekend wardrobe of leggings and big tshirts.

Style Inspiration: Fur Vest.

I recently bought a fur vest from Forever 21, and I have to say that I’m obsessed with it. It goes with everything from a simple flannel shirt to a dressier going out outfit.
Here are a few fur vest images from around the web that have been inspiring me lately:

Comfy Plaid.

Since I have to dress up for my internship three days a week and for my restaurant job most other days, I try to wear something as comfy as possible on my days off.
