Dream Big.

This is another one of my favorite quotes lately.

Sometimes it’s easy to get overwhelmed by everything that I want to do and all of the goals that I have for myself. I like the reminder that, even though it’s scary, having big dreams (and working hard) will pay off in the long run.

Current Season.

I came across this quote on Pinterest, and it really stuck with me.

As I get closer to graduation, I find myself worrying more and more about my future and what I’m going to do come June. I have all of these ideas and plans for how I want my life to go and where I want to be a year from now and further into the future, but I think it’s important to also embrace that place that I’m in right now.

I’m really working on trying to enjoy the moment and the place I’m in in my life. Although it’s scary not to know exactly what my future holds, it’s also kind of exhilarating to know that I have nothing holding me back from doing what I want and that my future is wide open ahead of me.

Cranberry Mojito.

Happy belated Thanksgiving, everyone! I’ve finished up all of my finals at school and am now happily relaxing at home in Tennessee

Even though I’m a vegetarian, I still love Thanksgiving food and filling my plate up with yummy fall vegetables. This year, along with our delicious Thanksgiving spread, we also made festive cranberry mojitos to enjoy with our meal. The tart cranberries combined with mint and rum made for a fun and refreshing cocktail.

Hello.

Hello, Everyone! Welcome to my first post ever of my brand new blog.

I’m Kory. I’m a college student in Chicago. It’s three months into my senior year, and I’m still trying to figure out what exactly I want to do when I graduate in June. I do know, though, that wherever I end up I’m going to have a fun time getting there!
